GDS+A

We are a Mexican architecture firm committed to creating unique spaces. There is no straight line for each project, it is more about a study and experimentation both formal and conceptual concordant to the environment that surrounds and goes hand in hand with the dreams and desires of our clients. Founded since the 90s, we are an interdisciplinary team that focuses on the design, development and supervision of architectural projects. We believe in teamwork, that is why we have partnered with the offices of Legorreta + Legorreta, Teodoro González de León and Francisco Serrano and several other architects. GDS has been founded and led since 1992 by Guillermo Diaz de Sandi who has been in charge of the office for over 30 years.

FOUNDER

He has participated in projects, works and competitions of various kinds among which are: Uma Zihuatanejo, Conjunto Tenosique, Real Diamante in Acapulco, The Managua Cathedral, and The Children's in Mexico City, amongst others.

Guillermo has collaborated with The Related Group (one of the largest developers in the United States) from 2006 to 2008 and from 2015 to 2016, representing the company in Mexico and developing projects such as Punta Garrobo, Las Pozas in Zihuatanejo and The W Hotel and Residences in Acapulco, among others.

He was the Founding President of the Association of Investors of Acapulco Diamante from 2004 to 2008 and has taught at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad La Salle and the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus
