The proposal is part of the University Cultural Center complex, corresponding to the UDEG. A building with dynamic and diverse spaces was projected, which could fulfill the function of protecting the historical heritage of Jalisco and, in turn, create spaces that invite reading and the interaction of man with knowledge. ​

 

The library has six levels that, due to their individual surfaces, create a set of volumes superimposed one after another, surrounded by a vertical latticework that gives the appearance of books arranged on a desk.

The floor composition allows terraces to be created on all levels, giving a new meaning to the traditional library, which is usually more introspective.
