The project focuses on bringing low impact support infrastructure to Tenosique Municipality , as well as it adds value to the touristic context of Usumacinta canyon. The development explores the integration of local commerce by adding two commercial areas and eight Boutique Hotels. Commercial areas are linked to the rest of the regional commerce by water due to the incorporation of Docks and shops where locals could sell traditional crafts and food. The eight hotels focus on different aspects of local tourism such as adventure sports or relaxation. 

 

Architecture is formed by suspended solids with columns integrating themselves with topography and local vegetation looking for a integrated experience between visitors and nature and mass reducing its impact on the terrain.
